Unique N-type multi-coating designed specifically to the strengths of the optical system. This coating allows both models to achieve the highest possible clarity & colour contrast in all light conditions from early morning to dusk.
Full internal focusing (infinity to 2.2 metres close focus) with 500° turn, making accurate focusing easier.

All six models use OASIS® coating and continue to benefit from PC phase correction and feature fully integrated Opticron 'N' type multi-coatings on all air/glass surfaces within the remainder of the optical system.
The results provide the user with a
superb balance of image brightness and high
colour contrast demanded for accurate wildlife
observation across a wide range of light
conditions.
The long focal length, long eyerelief eyepieces
are designed to maximise viewing comfort and
deliver full field of view with or without
glasses. In the BGA Classic these eyepieces
are fitted securely inside lightweight
polycarbonate housings incorporating a
rotating rubber eyecup mechanism
and click stop dioptre adjustment.

assemblies with smooth dioptre adjustment
are available to order.)
BGA Classic models are fully nitrogen waterproof to a depth of 5m, and as such guarantee high performance viewing whatever the weather - from infinity focus down to under 2 metres. The distinctively styled rubber armouring whilst ensuring maximum protection is specially shaped to reduce weight wherever possible. The results are felt in superb handling and balance with finished weights by far the lightest of any comparable binoculars.

Designed for both the enthusiast and those seeking the very highest optical resolution for their money, the HR WP successfully combines the innate qualities of both traditional porro prism and modern roof prism formats into a single multi-purpose, user friendly, high performance field glass.
Available in 8x42 and 10x42, each optical system uses the enlarged 'B' porro prism format in combination with internal focusing and long focal length long eyerelief eyepieces. Component glass materials are of a very high quality and all air-to-glass surfaces are fully multi-coated to minimise light loss through the system.
To keep weight at a minimum while maintaining rigidity, the chassis is built using a mix of aluminium, magnesium and plastics. Hermetically sealed, each instrument is fully nitrogen waterproof to a depth of 3m and is guaranteed for 30 years against manufacturing defects.
The bold and innovative design is finished in a smooth natural rubber covering with a high contact surface pattern for extra grip. The models also feature Opticron house-style focusing wheel covering, twist type retractable eyecups and left side dioptre adjustment situated on the centre focus wheel.

Their unique performance is the result of both the superb optical system plus a combination' multi-coating applied individually to different components within the optical system. The results are clear - simply the best resolution and colour contrast across the colour spectrum in a whole array of light conditions.
Other spin offs include reduced internal reflections and an increase in depth of field, the 8x42 requiring a little over quarter of a turn to focus from 5m to distance.
The lightweight body has a specially designed contoured rubber that completely covers the instruments in a protective skin.
The semi-circular ribs are designed to deliver positive handling in all weather conditions with or without gloves throughout the lifetime of the instrument.
