The GXMZ series of monozoom microscopes have ultra-low distortion optics optimized for image projection to a camera system.  Representing outstanding value for money this compact, modular system is ideal for numerous inspection tasks with a magnification range of up to 1000x.

Every aspect of the design of the GXMZ system ensures maximum interchangeability of parts. You can configure precisely the system and performance you need to produce an economic, high performance, compact solution.

Most GXMZ systems are supplied with no eyepieces with simply a camera providing a clear, image on a computer display or video monitor. With the GXMZ there is no need to lean over and observe through eyepieces, you can just sit back and make your observations without strain.

The outstanding lens quality of this system delivers superb quality images to the camera.  The camera can be mounted on a range of stable, well designed stands ensuring optimum image stability.

The GXMZ microscope system gives you the choice of 6 objective lenses, 6 camera and head couplers, 8 stands, 12 illumination sources, 12 cameras and an optional iris and a range of reticules.

Digital and video cameras for microscopy

GX Microscopes provides over 30 different models of cameras suitable for microscope use.  They include eyepiece cameras as shown in the datasheet, c-mount video cameras from JVC, c-mount digital firewire cameras and specialist cooled cameras for low light fluorescence imaging.
the camera resolutions are offered to over 5 megapixels with live previews and supplied with fully functional digital microscopy software.

The perfect low cost digital microscope/magnifier suitable for a host of uses in education, industry and for hobbyists.

It has built-in high quality zoom optics, LED illumination and digital USB camera to produce crystal clear images of the subject live on your PC display. With LED illumination almost no heat is transferred to the subject which is ideal for observations of live subjects such as insects.  The working distance also allows the microscope to operate in a similar way to a stereo microscope.

The DinoCapture software supplied with the microscope provides an easy-to-use interface to the microscope camera and allows you to record movies, time lapse sequences and single images. With a high speed live display of the subject this is a perfect tool for teaching and consultation with colleagues.

This microscope has almost no moving parts and is robustly housed in a tough plastic case ensuring high durability and minimum cleaning requirements. Requires PC with USB-2 port and Windows XP/Vista to use

GXMGE-5 Advanced Portable Digital USB Microscope

The GXMGE-5 microscope has 2 magnifications available at very high resolution with an outstanding illumination sysem with no less than 4 different sources!,
60X, 180X.
The higher magnifications are selected by attaching a 180X objective screw-on lens

Laser Pointer for quick positioning:
The GXMGE-5 microscope includes a laser pointer which shines a red laser onto the centre of the field of view. This excellent innovation makes it quick and simple to position areas of interest under the microscope for immediate observation without searching.
The laser pointer is turned on and off in the software

Extendable arm for larger objects:
For those subjects that cannot easy be accommodated on the stage of the microscope the arm of the GXMGE-5 microscope can be easily extended so that the optical head reaches beyond the microscope stage allowing other size objects to be studied.

Removable optical/camera head for full portability and experimental rigs:
The entire cylindrical optical head with integrated camera can be removed from the stand and connected via USB-2  to the computer to act as a hand-held device or for attaching to experimental rigs. This is a very useful feature in many laboratories where the constraints of the microscope stand would otherwise limit the use of the microscope.

Fully integrated high resolution USB-2 colour camera:
Built into the microscope, mounted just above the optics, is a high quality, high grade colour digital camera delivering a high speed output, live image at a full 1.3 Megapixel resolution to the PC display.  Typical refresh rates of 16 frames per second can be achieved at this resolution.  Speeds will vary according to PC specifications.  Lower resolutions for even faster refresh rates can be selected.
