This family of excellent microscopes includes separate coarse and fine focus knobs and an inclined rotatable head. This makes them ideal for comfortable prolonged observation work.
Each of the XSP models is furnished with a set of powerful achromatic objectives mounted on a rotating nosepiece providing parfocality throughout the magnification range.
The condenser includes a disc diaphragm and has a numerical aperture of 0.65. The eyepiece has a built-in graticule pointer, ideal for identifying features for students to observe.
The XSP-53F model includes a plano-concave mirror as the transmitted light illumination source.
The XSP-53FL model includes a 15W bulb making observation and set up simple.
All models of microscope are of a robust metal construction and have been specifically design to withstand the rigors of life in schools and colleges.
