The L3000 series of biological microscopes are the very latest in the GX Microscopes range. They are equipped with a full range of high quality plan achromatic objectives mounted on a quadruple (A) or quintuple (B) reversed nosepiece to produce high definition, bright, high contrast images of your specimens.
Every microscope is ergonomically styled with the latest design stand and focus knobs. As standard the L3000 microscopes are supplied with a good quality swing-out Abbe condenser and large format mechanical stage.
The range of options include binocular or trinocular heads, darkfield kit, phase contrast kit and a host of digital and video image capture options.
Typical applications include histology, cytology, neurology, plant sciences, anatomy, particulate research, crystallography, zoology and marine biology.

This stylish range of high quality biological microscopes is suitable for use in schools, colleges, universities and routine laboratories.
The microscopes are supplied in a wide range of formats and represent great value for money.
Each microscope in the range is supplied with widefield eyepieces with the option of reticules or pointers to aid measurement and teaching.
The eyepieces can be mounted in a choice of a binocular or monocular head.  The binocular head includes an adjustment for different user’s interpupillary distance ensuring maximum comfort. All heads can be rotated to any position and all have inclined eyepiece tubes.
The main body is an all metal, robust construction with stylish, modern curves. The paint finish is tough and easy to clean, ideal for teaching environments.
Built into the main body is the revolving nosepiece which supports 3 or 4 objectives.  The objectives supplied are high quality with exceptional performance and optical clarity delivered by the plan achromatic objectives.
There is a choice of a simple slide clip or a professional grade mechanical stage with 2 different movement ranges.
Illumination is provided through a powerful lamp and the condenser delivers an optimal cone of light to the objectives ensuring the highest resolution.
