XTX-7C-W Series
Dual Magnification Stereo Microscopes with Gemological Accessories

Binocular head which is ergonomically angled at 45 degrees for maximum comfort during prolonged observations.
The binocular head can be rotated 360 degrees.
To eliminate eyestrain each user can set up perfect viewing by adjusting the diopter setting on the left eyepiece tube.
The two ocular tubes can be adjusted to accommodate the perfect interpupillary distance for each user.

The microscope head is mounted on sturdy and stylish microscope ‘arm-type’ metal stand.

The focus knob moves the head smoothly using a metal rack and pinion mechanism constructed from tough metal bearing for a long working life.

The optical parts of the microscope consist of:
a pair of high quality 10X WF eyepieces.  The XTX7CWKit version includes sets of additional eyepieces providing a very wide range of magnifications.

A rotatable objective nosepiece which contains 2 pairs of objectives. Each objective in each pair links directly to an eyepiece.  The objectives are angled.  This gives the user a great stereo 3D image of the specimen under observation. The optics are all made from high quality glass and produce crisp, bright images with minimal chromatic aberration.
80X Magnification
The objective pairs have magnification factors of 2X and 4X to produce a total magnification of 20X and 40X when used with the 10X eyepieces and up to 80X when used with the 20X eyepieces.

Illumination is provided by lamps above and below the specimen.
Independent Intensity Control
The lamps can be turned on independently and have variable intensity controls.
The base light is covered by a frosted glass plate providing a evenly illuminated specimen.

The XTX7CWKit version includes a set of gemological tools:
Jewel Tweezers which are mounted on a rotatable pillar which sits in the slide clip holes.
Darkfield stage which is just perfect for observing gems and diamonds giving a black background while illuminating the gem from the sides.  This stage sits on top of the base illuminator.

Every microscope is supplied with spare bulbs and comes with a 1 year warranty.
