The L3000 series of biological microscopes are the very latest in the GX Microscopes range. They are equipped with a full range of high quality plan achromatic objectives mounted on a quadruple (A) or quintuple (B) reversed nosepiece to produce high definition, bright, high contrast images of your specimens.
Every microscope is ergonomically styled with the latest design stand and focus knobs. As standard the L3000 microscopes are supplied with a good quality swing-out Abbe condenser and large format mechanical stage.
The range of options include binocular or trinocular heads, darkfield kit, phase contrast kit and a host of digital and video image capture options.
Typical applications include histology, cytology, neurology, plant sciences, anatomy, particulate research, crystallography, zoology and marine biology.

Featuring GX Microscopes’ latest designs in ergonomics, styling and optical performance. They are designed for use in biological applications and are particularly suitable for university teaching and research laboratories.

Infinity Corrected Optics
The optical system is the latest infinity optics design and includes a range of high eyepoint eyepieces and CF Achromatic or Plan Achromatic high contrast objectives. The optical performance of the microscopes is usually found on instruments costing 4-7 times as much.

Koehler Illumination
Unusually for this price of instrument, full Koehler illumination is provided with a field iris and a rack and pinion mounted Abbe condenser with a 1.25 N.A. guaranteeing optimum image quality.

Reversed Nosepiece
The standard models are provided with a quadruple reversed nosepiece for easy slide loading access.  A quintuple nosepiece is available on request.

Easy Handling
Particularly important in the busy teaching laboratory is the incorporation of a carry handle in the rear of the microscope.

Convenient and Safe Lamp Changing
Changing the lamp on the 180M series is made simple and safe with a front removable panel. You no longer need to invert the microscope and access the lamp through the base.

The GXD series inverted microscopes from GX Microscopes are high quality, stylishly designed instruments designed for routine, research and teaching applications in tissue culture and cell biology

The microscopes benefit from a CSIS infinity optical system and ultra clear, high contrast, long working distance, plan achromatic objectives to produce superb quality images normally associated with microscopes costing 3 times as much.
Two models are available, standard binocular (GXD-20) or trinocular (GXD-30) for imaging with attached cameras requiring a camera adapter.  The c-mount camera adapters available for the GXD series microscopes are properly corrected to provide a parfocal, sharp image with the same field of view as observed through the eyepieces. The photo port is even equipped with a parfocalising adjustment ring for fine tuning of the image to the camera.
The stage working area is large 160x250mm and you are supplied with an attachable/detachable mechanical stage for the manipulation of culture flasks, petri dishes, slides and microtitre plates.
Illumination is delivered by a centerable 30W halogen lamp which is focussed through a swing-out condenser with a phase ring slider.

This family of microscopes incorporates the very latest technology live digital imaging systems stylishly incorporated into a modern, high performance microscope. 

All of the microscopes have a USB digital image output to a PC where the comprehensive software application displays a live image for image capture, storage, annotation, manipulation and even measurement.  PH100_VU has an additional video output.

Every microscope is supplied complete with a range of accessories which include an aluminium storage case, immersion oil, filters, calibration graticule slide and sample slides.

Suitable for almost all level of microscopy users these microscopes are very highly specified with high quality optics including a set of 4 plan achromatic objectives mounted on a reversed nosepiece, koehler illumination, mechanical stage, Abbe condenser and a pair of widefield eyepieces.
