Motic BA300POL
One of the finest quality polarising microscopes available at an extremely competitive price.

The new Motic BA300POL is GX Optical’s most popular polarising microscope.  It is available in two versions, binocular or trinocular and is equipped with all the required accessories such as a full set of complementers including 1st order red, quarter wavelength and a quartz wedge.

Strain-free objectives
The optical clarity of the strain-free EF Plan objectives is superb providing crystal clear, bright images to the widefield 10x eyepieces and camera (trinocular head required).  Four objectives are supplied as standard x4, x10, x40, x60 (x20 and others are optional).  The objectives are mounted on an ergonomic reversed quintuple nosepiece.  The objective holders can be individually adjusted for concentricity of rotation using the adjustment tool.

Polariser & analyser
Polarised light is provided by the base polariser and is crossed by the rotatable analyser in the microscope head.  To observe specimens the rotating stage is supplied with an attachable mechanical specimen holder.

Koehler Illumination
Included in the system is a top quality condenser and field iris providing Koehler illumination and, thereby, optimum resolution for each magnification selected.

Powerful lamp
Light is provided by a powerful 30W halogen lamp with adjustable intensity.

Robust
This type of microscope is often used in multi-user or multi-site environments such as a universities, geological surveying and asbestos monitoring organisations.  Portability and robustness of build is therefore paramount.  The microscope has been designed specifically with these environments in mind including a tough metal stand and a useful carrying handle.   Storage/transport cases can also be supplied.

Easy Photography
Photography is simple with the trinocular version of the BA300POL microscope.  A range of adapters are provided which can take high resolution digital c-mount cameras.
